Decide WHERE you want to live.

Select a Local REALTOR® as your 'Exclusive Representative'.

Get Pre-Qualified/Pre-Approved for financing.

Participate in initial counseling session with chosen REALTOR®:  Share 'LIFE-STYLE CONSIDERATIONS'/NEEDS/WANTS/DESIRES.

Research areas/neighborhoods:  Determine which areas/neighborhoods best fit your 'Life-Style'.

Select properties within those areas/neighborhoods for viewing.

Inspect/Evaluate/Compare each property.

With the assistance of your REALTOR® write-up and submit an offer:  Be sure to 'Package Yourself and Your Offer' so you are the 'Best Buyers Prospect' to the Seller.

Empower your REALTOR® to Negotiate the offer and counter offer(s).

Upon acceptance of the offer...Submit loan application (If not already submitted).

Order Inspections:  Property/Termite/Water/Sewer etc.

Order Title Work

Review 'HUD Closing Statement' with your REALTOR® the day before closing.

Conduct Property Walk-Through.  Create 'Punch List' of items needing attention.

*Tax returns for the last two years
*Three most recent bank statements

Assets:
*Savings accounts (balances, a/c numbers, and institutions)
*Credit union (balances, a/c numbers, and institutions)
*Mutual Funds (balances, a/c numbers, and institutions)

*Equity in current home
